Have receipts available for those who want them and make sure that all the signs, flyers and ads for your sale state that items will be sold "as is" with no refunds possible for any reason. Never count up your cash during the sale or in front of buyers. If anyone asks how much you made, tell them you not able to share that information. Cash is king, no checks for any reason.
